Dropped off this Virgo TB in a cache near the Matawan Creek Bridge in Keyport, NJ. This creek flows into the Raritan Bay, which is part of the Atlantic Ocean. Staten Island, NY is on the other side of the Raritan Bay and beyond that is lower Manhattan!

99 years ago, in 1916, a Great White Shark or a Bull Shark swam from the ocean, into the bay, then into Matawan Creek (including under this bridge), going several miles inland. The shark killed several people in this creek in Matawan in one day. This story was one of the main inspirations for the book, Jaws, which became a blockbuster movie in 1975.

Up from Central Jersey as an adult at nearby Forestburg Scout summer camp. Found a few minutes this morning to drive over to this area and look for the Eagle Eye Cache. Didn't see any eagles but got the job done and picked up this trackable!
