Today we visited Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the bottom of the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain. In 1936 the Olympic Winter Games took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Btw: in this year Olympic Winter and Summer Games both took place in Germany. Near Ga-Pa the historical track "Bobbahn Riessersee" is situated where bobsleigh competitions took place. Today it is a cultural heritage with a small museum telling facts about this site and its history. Greetings from Bavaria madmaxhh
