Stichting Pink Ribbon is een fondsenwervende organisatie die aandacht vraagt voor borstkanker. We richten ons met name op de bewustwording van borstkanker onder de Nederlandse bevolking en geven voorlichting over de risico’s die tot deze ziekte kunnen leiden.
Het roze lintje:
De ‘Pink Ribbon’ is al jaren hét symbool van de strijd tegen borstkanker. Al vanaf begin jaren negentig werd het roze lintje in Amerika gebruikt door verschillende partijen. Een van die partijen is de Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
