I started geocaching on a more regular basis in 2010 when my first son was born. Before having children my husband and I spent quite a few of our vacations travelling around the western US, mainly hiking and backpacking in the national parks. When I bought this coin I thought it would be an appropriate mission to travel to the western US. I will follow its travels and hope it visits some of the parks where I have spent time.

If you take the coin to national parks, monuments etc I will greatly appreciate pictures!

We've been visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for the last couple of days! This cache is nearby the "less touristy" side of the park and I hope it will continue traveling to National Parks!
