The front of the coin is an exact copy of the 1754 dutch coin called the Rijder (Rider). It was made in silver or gold (Silver Rider of Gold Rider). The image of the horseman was already used in the century before. The latin motto on the front means: New Silver Coin of the Belgium Federation (a.k.a. Seven Provinces), province of Holland.

The 3d image on the back was used on several dutch coins either and it ofter came with the same motto. The motto on the back means: The little ones grow through unity.

Vandaag lekker een dagje cachen rond Ainsa, in de streek Sobrarbe, Spaanse Pyreneeen. We hebben daar wat, voor ons, nieuwe caches bezocht en de coins, tb's en geokrety die we eerder tijdens ons bezoek aan NL hadden meegenomen geplaatst. We hopen dat de locatie OK is, het toeristenseizoen gaat beginnen dus er zullen zeker wat cachers langskomen denken we zo. Succes met de reis!! Groeten, casaalamos, spanje

Heb deze prachtige Hollandse coin meegenomen uit Fluyt om een serieuze reis te aanvaarden, naar het zuiden. Het zal even duren voor we hem weer gaan droppen (we zijn hier nog een kleine twee weken op vakantie) dus geef ons even de tijd a.u.b.
