Area 51 or bust!

Edit: May 2009: This alien's name is Alex, as he was originally retrieved from a cache near Alexandria, Ohio. Alex has been traveling since May 2003 - 6 years now! Alex started out in Ohio and finally made his way to his first goal location in Nevada. A friend took him in, let him rest up, and then took him on his first European vacation in centuries (his family helped build Stonehenge, but that was a while ago). Now Alex would like to visit the famous UFO-sighting location of Roswell, New Mexico, and be reunited with Team Donutdog. Please help him make his way there if you can!

Please don't write his "secret" tag number in your online log, lest the Men In Black use the tracking number to find him before he reaches his destination.

Saw that Alex alias A. Leon, was still in the FW area, so picked him up to ride to NM and find a cache. Hopefully, a local cacher will take him to visit Roswell since it is fairly close to where we will be (within 200 miles).

Couldn't resist grabbing this one. I know a few places he would like to visit before moving on.

  • A relative is buried here This is an actual state historical marker outside the cemetery in Aurora, Texas.
  • In search of ghosts Located in this cemetery is the legendary (locally at least) glowing tombstone. Every night a certain tombstone gives off a bright very noticable glow. I have seen this for myself.

Picked up Area 51 in Arlington, TX. We have plans to go to New Mexico, but realized it wasn't until next month. I hate to take him caching with me for so long and deprive others of seeing this adorable, and very creative little bug. We were all impressed. My 7 year old loves A. Leon. Plan to get him into a newer cache so he doesn't get stuck. If he is still nearby when we go to NM, I will try to track him down for the trip.
