You won't be getting your hands on this bug except to take a picture with him. I am using the Snoogatola bug tag to log my personal geocaching miles and events. I had originally planned to release him, but after nearly doubling my GeoJetta's gas bill, I am going to log his miles for myself. I have been carrying him to all the caches for pictures anyway.....If you see me at any of the caches or geocaching meets, I'll take your picture with him and put it on his page. I'll also give you his tag number so you can take credit for a bug find. (IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION: Only LOG this Travel Bug. DO NOT place it in another cache. Just let me, or someone else, grab it from your inventory.) Since the miles are as the crow flies, I would estimate at least 2 times more for actual mileage.
This Travel Bug is the identical twin of TB, The Snooganator, so see that page for his life's story.
Snoogatola is a Metaluna Mutant from the 50's Sci-Fi classic, This Island Earth. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie, used it as the subject of its comedy. Both versions are equally entertaining.
I actually bought these guys to use in a picture for my profile on Amazon.Com.
