Geocoin produced to commemorate the Christchurch earthquake February 2011 in New Zealand. My family comes from Christchurch and the city was very much part of 'our place' as they grew up. It was with great sadness we saw the devestation and lives lost in the earthquake February 22nd 2011. It is now October 2015 and we have visited Chch again and it is encouraging to see the redevelopement and rebuilding of Christchurch once again. we have visited the memorials and any parts of the city over the last four years.

I am archiving this traceable and keeping it in my collection. It has travelled with me for many years and has been to cHCH a number of times. Today there was another earthquake....no injuries but some damage. It is time to rest.
