Visited 3/1/2017 Pengwinldy took it to Jog On By California - .13 miles  Visit Log

Jog On By: Took a little longer than expected but I found it. Unfortunately, the log was soaked and I was unable to sign it. Just after I returned the cache and got back in my car someone came up the road and jogged on by. Fitting.

Visited 2/28/2017 Pengwinldy took it to Finding Bruce California - 15.79 miles  Visit Log

Finding Bruce: I found him! I already found Dory. Now, I can find Nemo.

Visited 2/26/2017 Pengwinldy took it to The Ryker California - 1,703.35 miles  Visit Log

The Ryker: Vacation is over. Back in San Diego and out caching in RB today. First stop was a DNF. Gave up and moved on to this one. Once I got to GZ, this was the first place I looked. Left my signature penguin and one of the TBs I picked up while in Ohio.

Visited 2/26/2017 Pengwinldy took it to ORD Layover Illinois - 228.08 miles  Visit Log

ORD Layover: Second of three airports today. Second of two caches. We got our COLD winter weather today. Last Saturday when we were here, it was 70 degrees. Today if was below freezing, some light snow flurries and they had to de-ice our plane. This is more like it.

Visited 2/26/2017 Pengwinldy took it to NW Ohio Travelbug & Geocoin Challenge Ohio - 31.05 miles  Visit Log

NW Ohio Travelbug and Geocoin Challenge: I just had to do this one before I hopped back on a plane headed for California this morning. TBs are my favorite part of this game. I have logged 368 trackables with 141 of them Travel Bugs. In fact on Tuesday, I hosted a Travel Bug Exchange in Perrysburg Township where over 30 trackables changed hands. My daughter and I were in town to visit family and I had hoped for that California girl to experience a "real winter". The weather was warmer here than in CA with temps over 70 degrees. I had really wanted her to see it snow. That happened today...on our way to the airport. When I hopped out of the car to make the find, she hopped out to catch snowflakes on her tongue. Win-win! TFTC. SL and left a penguin trackable. Happy travels Pudgy!

Visited 2/25/2017 Pengwinldy took it to Big Bird Ohio - 15.63 miles  Visit Log

Big Bird: Another cache, another county. After lunch at Packo's today, I asked my mom to take us out here. I used to live up the road in Oregon (now in CA) and I never knew this was even here when I was a kid. I love birding and love eagles. Saw one today and added a new bird to my life list...the tundra swan. We saw over 100 of them! We also saw 2 trumpeters, Canada geese, a kestrel, red winged blackbirds, a robin, a turkey vulture, and an unidentified hawk (didn't bring my binos). We also saw a frog, tons of turtles and two muskrats. What a successful visit!

Visited 2/25/2017 Pengwinldy took it to Celebrity Buns Ohio - 5.09 miles  Visit Log

Celebrity Buns: Last full day in town and had to go to Tony Packo's. I was telling my daughter how back in 1980 when I went to nearby Birmingham Elementary, our class walked down to Saint Stephen's to see Vice President Walter Mondale when he was running for President against Ronald Reagan. We found the cache then went into Packo's for lunch. Love me some chicken paprikas! Anyway, of all the tables to choose, we ended up right next to Mondale's bun as well as Jaime Farr's and Ray Charles'. Nice buns.

Visited 2/24/2017 Pengwinldy took it to Johlin Cabin Treasure Ohio - 2.91 miles  Visit Log

Johlin Cabin Treasure: In town from California. I found this back in October of 2014 but brought my cousin to see the cabin that used to belong to our family. He didn't know that it was here and we had so much fun checking out our family history. The cache was not hidden and the lid was on but upside down. I corrected that problem and put it back in its hiding place.

Visited 2/24/2017 Pengwinldy took it to South Shore Washout Ohio - 6.07 miles  Visit Log

South Shore Washout: In town from California I used to go to Wynn Elementary and lived over on Cedar Point Road. My cousin that I hadn't seen in over 20 years came to visit and we went out to the old neighborhood. We stopped here to see the lake and I grabbed the cache. TFTC.

Visited 2/24/2017 Pengwinldy took it to S.Q. Weeping For Willow Ohio - 1,929.17 miles  Visit Log

SQ-Weeping for Willow: Talked my parents into stopping here after dinner at Cousino's so I could get my COTD. Took me a little longer to find than usual but made the grab and SL.
