Goodbye 9-11 Commemorative Geocoin. You are going to hate me for where I left you and I'm very sorry but we decided it was a perfect spot for your story. We found you in the middle of nowhere in the hot Northern Territory, Australia and we've left you in the middle of nowhere in the soon to be cold Scottish Highlands. Both places have gorgeous views. I felt a lot of pressure about where to drop you. You are such a special geocoin that I imagined you getting stolen immediately. I'm hoping by leaving you here, the person who finds you is committed to the game and will let you remain free. Super good luck, it was great to travel with you.

We've gone on the train one stop to Corrour and are walking back to Rannoch approx 20km. Beautiful scenery! Corrour is where they go in the Trainspotting movies.

We've taken you to Rannoch in Scotland to help celebrate Grandma's 70th birthday. You went up first class on the Calendonian Sleeper train. I got married at nearby Glencoe so I always love to come back here and see the beautiful Highlands. From this cache, I could look over to Stob Dearg, my favourite peak here. ⛰

I arrived in Windsor 10 minutes after the inlaws only to find that they had boarded a train back to London without waiting for me. Terrific. And they expected me to make dinner when I finally returned home. Oh well, at least I got to look at the castle for longer..... 🏰

High excitement, we have slightly detoured off the Thames Path walked into Bray so you can have lunch with Heston Blumenthal at his pub. Not that Heston was actually there of course but I'm sure he was present in spirit. And it wasn't the Fat Duck and the other one which both need months of reservations (Heston has a bit of a food empire going in Bray). Still, it was all good fun and the lunch was delicious. I meant to take a photo of you but forgot after the first wine. Hard to start walking again....

Another schlep for you up to the Thames Path. Day 6, Marlow to Windsor, 23km, Sunny and 18. The leaves are really Turning now. I've got the in-laws with me who do not like geocaching at all. I've told them to walk on ahead. The cache container was a Dalek - cute.

The in-laws have arrived from Melbourne and the husband has 'coincidently' gone away on a business trip to Vienna. Hmmmm. I've taken them for a walk from Richmond to Kingston and back on the other side of the Thames. Nice sunny day.🌞
