This was a really lovely lock. While taking a photo of you, my favourite hiking hat blew into the lock and sunk.

You've almost made it to Henley On Thames, famous for the rowing here. This cache is next to a house with its own model train which winds itself around the extensive gardens. It's big enough for people to ride. There's even a scale model of the St Moritz train station (of course).🚞

Day 5 on the Thames Path. I've had to skip ahead here because the in-laws are arriving from Australia so I don't have time for an overnight trip. 28km Reading to Marlow. I was aiming for a bit further on but that was because I didn't realise the distance grid was in miles. Lovely day but I can feel Autumn in the air and leaves are starting to turn. 🍁

You've taken a drive to Bedford to see CuteOtter compete in the Southern England Road Relay Championships. We finished with lunch at a cute pub and geocaching around Bedford.🏃‍♀️

Visited 9/24/2016 Wombatwandering took it to Latymerian London, United Kingdom - 48.31 miles  Visit Log

Just a dip into a cache near my home. This cache is in Hammersmith just near the Thames. Latymer is a big co-ed private school.

Made it to Oxford. It's a bit strange to have been walking along a peaceful tree lined river to now being amondpgst joggers, families, lovers, and tourists. Time to get the train home. 🚂

Visited 9/22/2016 Wombatwandering took it to F15 Southern England, United Kingdom - 5.75 miles  Visit Log

This is near the northern most point of the Thames. You are on the home stretch now to Oxford. Lots of airforce planes flying overhead. ✈️

Visited 9/22/2016 Wombatwandering took it to Kingston loop N016 Southern England, United Kingdom - 1.12 miles  Visit Log

What a saga getting here! Cows on the loose, barbed wire, big attack by stinging nettles, and a smashed to bits cache before this one. Death by cow. There was a travel bug in that cache. I found its tag but not the traveller. It's so damaged, I can't even read the code on the tag anymore.

Visited 9/22/2016 Wombatwandering took it to Thames Path: Newbridge (not) Southern England, United Kingdom - 10.04 miles  Visit Log

Starting Day 4 of the Thames Path, 22km plus some extra to detour to a few caches that are off the path. You spent the night in Newbridge. Room was overpriced but the people were otherwise very walker friendly. Lovely location. Newbridge was built in the 13th century and is 'new' compared to the bridge upstream at Radcott which is the oldest still standing on the Thames.
