Current Goal

Rusty has dropped off his load here in South Carolina and retired from duty. He would like to head out west and try his hand at climbing some mountains. Since Rusty is a MSU Bobcat fan, he would love to hit the local caches in Bozeman Montana and to travel the Big Sky State. He is in no real hurry to get there and would enjoy what ever route takes him to the Rocky Mountains. He loves to have his picture taken and to log his adventures. He has ask me to keep his photo album while he is gone. Please help this TB along on his way out west.

About This Item

Rusty Testing His Climbing Skills !!!

Rusty was left here at my house after a visit from my Sister and her Twin 3.5 year old sons. I don't know exactly which one left Rusty, but I added him to my "Cache Hunting Booty Stash". After many sleepless night pondering the fact that I have actually stolen such a valuable possession as a train engine, I have decided to return him. I remember how valuable a train engine was to me many years ago and even still today. My hopes are that Rusty makes it to Montana and travels out west for a few years. I will be releasing another similar TB soon to also "Walk About" and travel the North East for a few years. When my Twin Nephews are about 6 years old I will recall these Hitch-Hikers to the Athens Georgia area and try and recover them with two new GeoCachers. Hopefully Rusty's adventure will alleviate the errors of my ways and bring new found adventures to my Nephews and their family. I will start a photo album and logbook of these adventures so please take pictures and e-mail me with notes and comments. Word of Caution !!! Rusty has magnetic bumpers that will erase data off floppy and zip disk !!! I know this from experience !!!
Thanks - MainFrame / Fort Mill SC.

At 10:15 this morning, this bug was gone from the Historic Murphy Cache. The cache was well hidden. Didn't look looted.

We're headed up to the North Carolina mountains next weekend. We'll take Rusty so he can get some climbing practice before he heads out west to the BIG mountains!

Came by Rusty at the Sept GGA meeting drawing. I can get him out to California at the end of Oct. but that may be a little too far off. Maybe Alabama sooner.
