Der Hummel ist ein Hamburger Original. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Wasserträger Johann Wilhelm Bentz von den Straßenkindern mit dem Spitznamen 'Hummel Hummel' geneckt. Er antwortete darauf mit den deftigen Worten 'Mors Mors' (Mors = Hintern).
Noch heute begrüßen sich Hamburger außerhalb Hamburgs mit diesen Worten!
