Current Goal

This trackable is dedicated to our late brother and brother-in-law, Jim.  The picture attached has, left to right, Jim, then Bill and Jane, the owners of the trackable.  He especially loved to play golf.

We have brought this trackable from the United States to Australia.  Its goal is to be transported back to the US, and specifically to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, near where his two daughters live.

Please have it travel Australia for a year or so before being transported out of that country.  It is OK to travel to other countries.  Then bring it to the US, where it can travel for a time.  Please place it in caches that are easy to find, so that it does not get stuck along the way.

We would like to have it travel for at least two years but not longer than five years before we pick it up.  Then get it as near as possible to the following coordinates:

Jim continues to travel with us and is now at a small town called Mitchell. He's been to Thargomindah, Yowah and Charleville while on his way toward Maryborough where we will drop him off. Here's another couple of photos of Jim on his travels around Australia. Cheers, ajtmb.

  • Jim with GeoAJ at Thargomindah Thargomindah was the third town in the world to have hydro-powered street lighting after London and Paris. This photo was taken out the front of the power plant, which is now just a tourist attraction as the town has been connected to mains power.
  • GeoTM (Theresa) at Yowah Bluff with Jim Yowah is a tiny opal-mining town. There is a Bluff nearby and Jim is pictured here at the Yowah Compass which points to many cities around the world.
