Living in the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore National Memorial is one of my favorite places to drop in for a visit. The smiles on everyones faces as they gaze up at the faces are contagious. Walking the loop through the grounds and listening to the mix of languages reminds me how big our world is and how wonderfully diverse. The memorial represents ideas dear to the hearts of many of us. I would love to travel and visit memorials and monuments all over the world and learn of their importance and significance. In my stead, will you take this coin with on your visit to such and, if you can, share a photo and maybe a bit of the story. I look forward to learning through you.
