"Bomb" - Team Angry Birds

2014/12/13 Update:  The race is now over and I'm just a normal travel bug.  If the racing ID tag is still attached to this bug please remove it.

I am no longer part of an active race, but we still want to travel around as much as possible

Help Us! We are in a Travel Bug Race!!

Team Angry Birds is a collection of 5 travel bugs that are participating in the "Going The Distance" Travel Bug race being run by local Lehigh Valley Geocachers.  This years race is being scored on one very simple rule.. miles..  The more miles we get the more points we earn, and a small bonus to pictures.

1) 1 point per mile moved
2) 25 points per picture per cacher (so 1 picture per individual cacher is scored)

How Can You Help?

The simple answer is to stay active and move from cache to cache and share a few pictures if you can.  However I would honestly just like the bugs to live the life of a Travel Bug, show them off at events, dip them into caches, pictures, anything you can do to help it along.  I like to watch all of my trackables move, and utilize a mapping site to see where they all are and how each individual bug is doing..  I read all the notes for them, so if there is an interesting story you would like to share about it's travels, I would love to read it!

Team Angry Birds Welcomes You!

We are a group of Angry Birds Plush toys attached to a GxProxy TrekTag that consist of Blue Jay, Bomb, Chuck, Red and Pig. Starting on November 12th, 2013 we will be actively involved in the "Going The Distance" Travel Bug Race that a group of local cachers are putting on for our area.  We will want to rack up as many miles as possible before the race ends on December 13th, 2014, but most importantly we just want to have fun!  

How can you help us have fun you ask?  Well that is easy, just take us out caching with you..  dipping is highly encourage so our owner can see what we have visisted during our travels, pictures if you are so inclinded to are a bonus as well, show us off at events (we really like being discovered).

This particular bug is "Bomb".  Bomb is the black bird in the game and is also the strongest of all the birds.  His ability can be activated manually or will self activate after he hits something.  

While most all of the Flock have a short tempter when it comes to egg theft and smuggled birds, Bomb has the worst temper of them all.  He loses his "explosive" temper easily and often.  As a result of this explosive personality he tends to be a loner, prefering to remain away from the Flock as he does not want to be stressed with their problems (or blow them up accidentally).  Despite all that he is always willing to help should an emergency call.
