Left it in a cache along a great hiking trail. It's along the Backbone Trail of the Santa Monica Mountains, near Santa Monica overlooking the ocean.

Picked up along a trail in Ventura County. The narrow parts of these trails were covered in thistles and I was wearing shorts. My legs got poked many many times to get to this coin. Will pass along on a trail soon.
