Le Mora est un type de navire médiéval alliant les technologies francques et norroises, apparu au Xe siècle.
En 1066, la Duchesse Mathilde fait construire à Barfleur « la Mora », navire qui emmène son époux Guillaume le Conquérant à la conquête de l’Angleterre. Dès lors, Barfleur devient le port principal de la Normandie jusqu’au Moyen Age et la plupart des Ducs de Normandie et Rois d’Angleterre y passent pour regagner leur royaume anglais

Le Mora is a type of ship that combines the medieval Norse francques and technologies appeared in X century. 
In 1066, the Duchess Mathilde built in Barfleur "La Mora", ship that takes her husband Guillaume the Conqueror in the conquest of England. Therefore Barfleur is the main port of Normandy to the Middle Ages and most of the Dukes of Normandy and the kings of England spend to regain their English kingdom
