Current Goal

Golden Bear would love to see as much of this country as possible. Moving him along his way from cache to cache would make him extremely happy. He is particularly fond of peanut butter and backpack treats! (Anyone out there familiar with "Bear Tunes for Kids" by Brent Holmes?)

I would like to make a science or social studies project out of Golden Bear's travels. My plan is to mark with pins and string on a U.S. map all the locations he has visited.

Our school mascot is the Golden Bear, although a tougher, more ferocious variety than this teddy bear!

We discovered this Travel Bug as we went biking and geocaching along the Erie Canalway. It was located in cache GC13599. Since this was our first find of a Travel Bug, we decided to do a little more research on them before proceeding further.
