Deer’s Feet Traveler
This traveler is surefooted.
He wants to stand on high places.
The deer started his climb from the Yakima Valley
and went into the Washington Cascades.
From there he longs for the heights, even a small hill.
He likes to travel, so he does not want to land in places that are seldom visited.
He does not care about mileage.
Please do not take it to "visit" a cache.
He also wants to encourage you to keep venturing into higher places
--physically, mentally, and spiritually--to take heart and gain strength.
Read the following scriptures:
God makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he causes me to stand on the heights. --Psalm 18:33
Counting on God’s Rule to prevail,
I take heart and gain strength.
I run like a deer.
I feel like I’m king of the mountain! -- Habakkuk 3:19
He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
enabling me to stand on mountain heights. -- 2 Samuel 22:34
Go to High Places!
To keep him and his info sheet clean, please keep the high-seeking Deer in a baggie. A sandwich bag would be fine (when he's not in a picture).
