Cache and cache some more!
After 10 years of geocaching, the SeeKPeeKRs attended their 1st Mega event - GeoWoodstock XIII (GC54840). I didn't expect much from the event, but wanted to pick up two geo-achievement geocoins, find a storage system for my growing pathtag collection, and find a good lanyard for my GPSr .... GeoWoodstock XIII was everything and more!
I was able to buy the coins I wanted (plus some others), get some great ideas for storing and displaying my pathtags, and I got this cool lanyard .... And to go with my cool new lanyard, I won, yes WON (!!), the ultimate GPSr - a Magellan eXplorist GC which is attached to my lanyard!
I have been keeping track of the SeeKPeeKRs' caching adventures dipping the SeeKPeeKRs' Geopatch (TB3XAR3) in and out of caches found .... It is time to retire the geopatch TB. I will now be keeping track of the SeeKPeeKRs' journey using my lanyard TB.

Today, TBfreed, sallysomd, and I headed out to find an earthcache for International Earthcache Day; what a glorious day it was! π The day started out raining, and I was whining up a storm because of the rain. We weren't more than halfway to Annapolis, when the rain stopped β¦. By the time we made it to GZ, and then continued tooling around the Severna Park and Cape St. Clair area, we had sunshine accompanying us on our travels. π Great weather and great cachers to hang with - it doesn't get any better than this! π
Along with a fun day of caching, I continued the "Finding an Earthcache on International Earthcache Day" streak which started in 2007; this was year #10! π π

TBfreed and I set out today to earn the final Mission GC souvenir - find a puzzle cache. π When I knew that I needed to find a puzzle cache this weekend, I immediately thought about this puzzle cache because I wanted to avenge my DNF! π Today, TBfreed and I had absolutely no problem finding this cache (go figure) and proceeded to find 7 more after this one. π A nice day of caching! π

Yay, my cries for help to complete "Scavenger Hunt" (GC1AVQD) were answered! Mr. SeeKPeeKRs and I couldn't find the last of the 18 items needed to complete the wherigo; Google was a bust, and no one that we asked seemed to know where a redwood tree grew in Columbia, SC. Luckily, the previous finders I contacted got back to me right away and told me where to find the redwood tree. π Mr. SeeKPeeKRs and I headed out right after breakfast to score the redwood tree and, as it happened to be, a cache was hidden at the tree. π
