This trackable is in a race from February 2024 until February 2025. It would like to visit any places related to astronomy along the way as it clocks up hopefully the most kilometres and WINS the race.
This trackable from Australia with its attached travel patch represent my love of travel and new adventures. Bohstom and I visited Australia in 2019 (my 4th visit) and had a fantastic time visiting family, friends and plenty of geocaches along the way.
The travel patch from SolarFest 2017 Madras, Oregon is a reminder of the amazing adventures Bohstom and I had on our 'trip of a lifetime' to experience the Total Solar Eclipse of 21st August 2017. No words or photos can truly explain the celestial ballet where the Moon gracefully obscures the radiant face of the Sun, casting a spellbinding shadow on the Earth below. For those fortunate enough to be in the path of totality a solar eclipse is an experience beyond compare.
We are very fortunate to be now preparing to visit Ontario, Canada for a Total Solar Eclipse on 8th April 2024 and are hoping the weather is kind to us so that we can experience another Total Solar Eclipse.
Please note the following dates for the next Total Solar Eclipses in Europe:
12th August 2026 - Northern Spain & 2nd August 2027 - Southern Spain.
