To travel from cache to cache around the world, looking for my main squeeze Persephone, and trying to improve my public image. Why is it that Everybody Hates Hades?
This handsome geocoin was on sale, so I decided to give it a try even though the best coins always seem to go missing all too soon. (I've drilled a hole in this one to attempt to dissuade collectors; take a photo and let the coin keep traveling, please!) I've always been fond of Hades, who's actually one of the more decent members of the Greek pantheon (not that that is saying much!), and I love this symbol-laden coin. It shows him with gold and gems (under his sway as God of the Underworld), and the flip side has a silhouette of his three-headed guard dog Cerberus. (There's an interesting graphic novel about him: Hades: Lord of the Dead, by George O'Connor.)
