Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Silvery silver New South Wales, Australia - .22 miles  Visit Log

    Silvery silver
Everything at Silvery silver was so shiny I felt like a magpie with a data plan. I was tempted to polish the container, but I didn't want to ruin its "natural" luster. I’ve deposited the trackable into this metallic treasure chest. It’s looking very posh and far too expensive for its own good.

Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Quiet and loud New South Wales, Australia - .18 miles  Visit Log

    Quiet and loud
Visiting Quiet and loud was a sensory rollercoaster. One minute I’m whispering to a beetle, the next I’m startled by the local ambiance. It’s the only place where you can hear your own heart beating and a truck backfiring simultaneously. The trackable is now enjoying the peaceful-yet-deafening vibe of this unique spot.

Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to A Cache With A Twist New South Wales, Australia - .13 miles  Visit Log

    A Cache With A Twist
I approached A Cache With A Twist expecting a plot reveal like a M. Night Shyamalan movie. I won't spoil the ending, but my fingers are still trying to figure out the physics of what just happened. The trackable has been twisted into place—let’s see if the next cacher can untangle the situation.

Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Railway Line New South Wales, Australia - .36 miles  Visit Log

    Railway Line
I spent some time on the Railway Line waiting for a train of thought that never arrived. It’s a classic spot where you realize that "off the rails" is a lifestyle choice, not just a metaphor. Trackable is now stationed here, hopefully awaiting a first-class ticket to its next destination. All aboard the find-train!

Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Can You See The Cache? New South Wales, Australia - 4.35 miles  Visit Log

    Can You See The Cache?
The name Can You See The Cache? felt like a personal attack after ten minutes of staring directly at it. My eyes said "no," but my stubbornness said "yes." Eventually, the staring contest ended in my favor. Dropped the trackable off in plain sight—which, as we know, is the best place to hide anything.

Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Welcome to Loseby Park New South Wales, Australia - 1.09 miles  Visit Log

    Welcome to Loseby Park
I strolled into Welcome to Loseby Park feeling like a local dignitary, only to realize the only "welcome committee" was a very judgmental-looking magpie. I did a lap of the grounds, pretended to be athletic for exactly four seconds, and then got down to the serious business of investigative poking. The trackable is now officially a resident of the park—hopefully, it enjoys the fresh air and the occasional stray frisbee more than I enjoyed my brief attempt at jogging.

Visited 1/3/2026 Throsbyonchurch took it to Mint Condition New South Wales, Australia - 3.51 miles  Visit Log

    Mint Condition
I approached Mint Condition expecting a pristine, museum-quality experience, or at the very least, a breath freshener. Instead, I found a cache that is far more organized than my own sock drawer. I felt the sudden urge to wash my hands before touching anything. I’ve deposited the trackable here in the hopes that some of this cleanliness rubs off on its travel tags. It’s currently sitting in five-star luxury, waiting for a cacher who appreciates the finer, un-dented things in life.

Visited 12/31/2025 Throsbyonchurch took it to The Final Community Celebration Event for 2025 New South Wales, Australia - 8.91 miles  Visit Log

The GEOLYMPIX 2016 Silver Geocoin made a spectacular entrance, befitting an Olympic champion, at The Final Community Celebration Event for 2025! While GEOLYMPIX 2016 Silver Geocoin enjoyed soaking up the celebratory atmosphere at “Lake Alexandra”. Now that the celebrations are done, it's time for this athlete to leave the party and get back to training—and traveling! What's the next event on the calendar?

Visited 12/30/2025 Throsbyonchurch took it to The Park of Archived Caches New South Wales, Australia - 5.42 miles  Visit Log

The GEOLYMPIX 2016 Silver Geocoin completed one of the most grueling events of its career today: a visit to The Park of Archived Caches! This wasn't a relaxing trip down memory lane; it was an Olympic struggle! After successfully navigating the painful cryptic puzzle (a true mental marathon) and then executing a daring vertical climb to the GZ (high up in a tree—a true aerial gymnastics event), this silver medalist has earned a rest. The coin whispered that even after all that effort, it hopes the puzzle gets archived for good so no one else has to suffer! A brutal challenge.

Visited 12/30/2025 Throsbyonchurch took it to Berrima Courthouse weathering New South Wales, Australia - 6.03 miles  Visit Log

An adventurous afternoon took us around the district our last stop being Berrima Courthouse weathering.
GEOLYMPIX 2016 Geocoin - Silver and I spent some quality time today contemplating the relentless march of geological time at the Berrima Courthouse.
I tried to get my travel companion to demonstrate some of the physical weathering processes, like thermal expansion and contraction, but it flatly refused, claiming it was already "too hot to handle" and not built for dramatic size changes. Fair enough—I didn't want it to break!
We then moved on to observing the subtle, more patient work of chemical weathering. I asked it if it felt any affinity for oxidation or hydrolysis, to which it replied, "I'd rather not engage in any slow-moving, complicated chemical breakdown, thank you very much. I prefer to keep my integrity intact!"
We concluded that the rocks here are clearly working harder than we are! This trackable is still securely with me, resisting the urge to dissolve into the landscape.
