Visited 10/4/2025 Throsbyonchurch took it to Actinium New South Wales, Australia - .76 miles  Visit Log

My personal mission for the day was simply to leave town before the local council put up a roadblock asking why I hadn't yet found a single cache in their glorious Mulwaree Shire. Success! I’ve gone full element hunter instead.
I arrived at GZ and had a fleeting moment of anxiety that my phone would fail to detect this element, given that Actinium is technically radioactive and notoriously difficult to isolate. Luckily, the cache container proved far easier to track down than a pure sample of the isotope Ac-227.
The hide was brilliantly placed. It was disguised with a level of stealth that suggests the CO is either a retired spy or just really tired of muggles. I had to perform the obligatory "casual tourist checking their shoelace" dance before I could sign the log.
And because no trip to Goulburn is complete without vehicular assistance, I also dragged GEOLYMPIX 2016 Geocoin - Silver over the threshold. It logged a quick dip—it wanted to confirm the cache's coordinates were correct before zooming off again to continue its journey. I suspect it's looking for a car wash and a service station with decent road trip snacks.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find the element that represents a good bakery, because all this scientific hunting has made me hungry.

Visited 10/4/2025 Throsbyonchurch took it to AL 'Historic Goulburn' Bonus New South Wales, Australia - .47 miles  Visit Log

We completed the digital portion of the 'Historic Goulburn' tour and successfully computed the coordinates for this crucial bonus stage. Success!
The real highlight, however, was successfully getting a physical trackable to register a visit at a location primarily found via a mobile app. It felt like a small, beautiful act of rebellion against the digital age.
GEOLYMPIX 2016 Geocoin - Silver was hauled to the site [***AL 'Historic Goulburn' Bonus***] and immediately started complaining about the lack of a proper, dirt-and-moss-encrusted traditional cache logbook. I had to remind it that, technically, it was logging a bonus and should be grateful for the extra points. It looked highly suspicious of the GZ and kept trying to measure the distance to the nearest historical plaque.
Logged a quick dip for the Jeep before it could decide this cache was too modern for its tastes. It's now convinced that "Historic Goulburn" means caches should only be found with a paper map and a sundial.
