Arctic both sides coin

Alert, Nunavut, is the most northerly inhabited settlement in the world. With coordinates 82°28' N, 62°30' W, it is only 817 kilometres away from the North Pole. Alert is located on the northeastern tip of Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic. Alert, originally inhabited by the Inuit, was born as a joint Canadian, US weather station in 1950.

gave this coin last summer to Lestar to take with him back to the NWT. He has yet to log it in, I have reminded him several times, will do so again, the poor little coin probably wishes it were with us right now in Texas, it was +37 C today ..wow!
