Filbert Geocache....well he's an ‘anorak’, in particular a plane spotter! He devotes all his spare time visiting the observation decks of airports around the world.
Clutching a well-worn note book Filbert religiously records the registration details of any commercial aircraft he spots. Filbert also likes to collect airline memorabilia - safety demonstration cards, sick bags and luggage tags just to name a few.
It comes as no surprise Filbert is a member of just about every frequent flyer program he can sign up to! Filbert is happiest when he is flying, ensconced in an economy class seat, sipping his free beverage, racking up the frequent flyer points and recording every trivial detail of the flight in his note book!

Two months is too long! Not flying anywhere in the near future but should be able to get it into a cache with more traffic.

As I wasn't going to be on a plane any time soon, and I was replacing a missing cache, and I didn't have much in the way of swag, Filbert got dropped in this cache.

When I saw that a TB owned by my sister and brother-in-law had been dropped into a new cache only 20 miles from me I had to get it! (This normally wouldn't be so big of a deal except for the fact that I live in North Carolina, USA and they live in South Australia, Australia!)
Was able to find a little spare time this afternoon to hit the cache and picked up Filbert AND FTF honors! Unfortunately, my next flight may not be for a few months, so I may have to move Filbert on by less lofty methods.

I grabbed this before the last person logged it so I mistakenly said the wrong cache name. It was found in City hall circa.
Sorry no flying this time. We are taking a bus ride with nearly 40 Boy Scouts tommorow night to summer camp in Georgia. We will also do some white water rafting in North Carolina. We hope to find at least 1 cache to drop it in.
