W**please only retrieve this TB if you can help him travel around Asia!**
This week was long and hot, and Friday capped off the workdays for us, with a clear shift to the weekend. We still had a few things in plan here in lovely and humid Hà Nội, but after visiting the Long Bien night market yesternight, we sure did take our time in bed today. A very lazy morning for the both of us, we got out of our place around 11 and the first thing on today's itinerary was to visit the Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám).
We've driven past it three times yesterday but didn't make it there, so today we finally said it was time to visit the nearly millennium year old university grounds. We parked nearby one of the exits and started off with a under-average bánh mì for breakfast, after which we were happy to start our day off with another cultural experience, visiting the two stashes there, and after an hour of exoring we moved on to some local shopping and more sightseeing. Next on our tour, we stopped by the botanical garden, which we've driven by a few times in the past week, and also told ourselves that it's finally time to visit. We've read some quite negative reviews of it due to the caged animals, which were quite just, but we couldn't hold off on visiting the local stash, especially since it's been recently maintained. We parked and paid to get in, and were glad to see so many locals having a great time and enjoying leisure activities in the park. We walked to GZ, and soon knew just where to look considering the helpful spoiler picture. But we spent a few minutes waiting out muggles, since there were indeed so many around, in constant streams. Finally when the coast was clear, Laura hopped down and retrieved the container, and when we saw it it was clear we'd leave a TB here. The choice ended up being for you, dearest choppie ; we've taken you for so long on our trip in this country that we finally found a suitable stash for you. It's been a while since we said goodbye to your brother, and now it's your turn to be let into this world. We hope you meet many new and nice travelers and enjoy visiting many new places, and see a lot of nice food around Asia. It's been a pleasure; good luck little guy!
