Happy Veterans Day to all that served!! 🇺🇸
Welcome to Arizona and the Anthem Veterans Memorial. This is a special memorial representing 5 pillars descending in height with each representing an arm of the U.S. military, the monument's shadows will align at precisely the right angles to form the great seal of the U.S for one minute. This isn't just any day or hour: it was designed to do this at 11:11 every November 11th, or Veteran's Day. 🪖

On my way to Salt Lake City so I had to stop at the Great Salt Lake. The Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere and the eighth-largest terminal lake in the world. 🧂💦

Stopped at the Salt Flats in Utah on my way to Salt Lake City. The salt flats are a remnant of the Pleistocene Lake Bonneville, which dried up. The lake was huge, filling much of the Great Basin. As the water continued to evaporate, salt deposits were left in many areas. It is an absolutely beautiful sight! 🧂

This cache says Welcome to Twin Falls but it should say, Goodbye from Twin Falls as today is my last day here on my trip. Tomorrow, I drive down to Salt Lake City to take a flight to Phoenix, Arizona so my travels can continue! In the meantime, I will just continue to chase rainbows. 🌈

A visit to downtown Boise is not complete without exploring the Freak Alley Gallery, the largest outdoor art gallery in the Northwest United States. The ever-changing space is known for its impressive street art that features local artists from Boise. There is an indoor gallery as well, which also promotes local artists and sells art inside. The artwork is changed regularly, ensuring new experiences every time you visit. 🎨

In Boise, one of the most iconic buildings is the Idaho State Capitol building. Idaho officially became a state in 1890 and Boise has been the capital of Idaho since 1864, after it was transferred from Lewiston. The Idaho State Capitol Building began construction more than 50 years later, in 1905, and the building was not completed until 1920. 🥔

This might be the biggest cache container I have ever found!!! Have you ever seen one bigger? I think that NASA could probably see this from space. Fun find in the desert on the Southern border of Idaho.
