Current Goal

GEE-RAF would like to go to other places where there are GEE-RAFs (aka Giraffes) such as a Safari Park or Zoo.

About This Item

The original Gee-raf went missing, so I'm sending out a new Gee-raf. 

 

Gee-raf's are just cool.



Sadly, Fuzzy Wuzzy went missing. So I am repurposing this as Gee-RaF.


As a child with naturally curly hair, I remember being teased on rainy days when my hair would go crazy, and I would end up looking like Fuzzy Wuzzy. I remember as a kid my mom used to say the Fuzzy Wuzzy rhyme to me:

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he?

Fuzzy Wuzzy was the term used by British colonial soldiers for the nineteenth century Hadendoa warriors supporting the Sudanese Mahdi. The name "Fuzzy Wuzzy" may be purely English in origin, or it may incorporate some sort of Arabic pun (possibly based on ghazi, "warrior"). It alludes to their butter-matted hair which gave them a "fuzzy" look. Fuzzy Wuzzies are remembered today primarily for a popular English children's rhyme, and for a poem by Rudyard Kipling.

Sorry for the long lost Giraffe. It traveled many places in the door of my vehicle. The Giraffe is now in the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray Maine. There are no Giraffes there but they do have a rescue Moose.

Please help! I can not seem to drop this trackable at its new home.

Most likely cause I lost this poor trackable for sometime and placed it shortly after I rediscovered it.
