The above coordinates will get you to this place to park. At this time there is limited parking. Please take care when leaving. Sight to and around the corner is very restricted. If you can, you might want to try parking by backing in. With its 34 acres of surrounding woodlands, streams, and salt marsh, the area known as Nick's Lagoon forms a complete ecosystem, providing habitat for some of the region’s most sensitive salmon species. The community approached Trust for Public Land (TPL) to help prevent this area from being developed into residential subdivisions. The Kitsap County Parks and Recreation Department acquired the property, which will be used as a park and environmental education site.
