Canalmania 1 - BORDER RAID (Bucks/Herts border)
This cache takes you close to the Bucks/Herts border, with views across the Vale of Aylesbury and towards Ivinghoe Beacon and Mentmore Towers. You'll see the canal has been redirected underground along this stretch, ending up in Wilstone Resr. There's an interesting information board you should pass on the way here from suggested parking outside Drayton Beauchamp, around N51° 47.955 / W000° 41.496. Of course, if you're doing these in reverse order just follow your GPS from Canalmania 2.
So get on your bike and have a happy hunt! It's worth noting I deliberately set these caches in locations far from road access. No cache and dashing here but you could find all five inside an hour if you have the leg muscles and lungs for it.
Each small (0.24ltr.) cache originally contained:
1x Candle
1x Toy car
1x Party popper
Plus the usual: Cache notice, microlog & small pen.
