The cache is located on a little coastal peninsula called Brasher Park. It is a log only, so bring your own writing instrument.
Swampmuck Jr. usually complains when I drag him around on a hunt, but when he found out that no "geo" existed at one of his favorite spots, he insisted that we deploy one immediately.
Brasher Park is a great place to stop and relax for a while after dealing with the craziness of shopping at the nearby Walmart or Gulfview mall. There's lots of stuff to do here; playground, fishing, kayak launch and even swimming (lots of sharp rocks so bring water shoes). The park closes at dusk.

For you weather geeks, this is also the location of a COMPS (Coastal Ocean Monitoring Prediction System) station that uploads hourly data to their website as well as the Pasco County Emergency Operations Center. Click here to see the latest observations from this station
