Templet dominerar omgivningen på samma sätt som kyrkor brukar göra, eftersom det ligger på en liten höjd och dessutom har ett högt torn. Det byggdes 1970, då mexiteglet var modernt. Det introducerades ju under olympiaden i Mexico City 1968.

Enligt förståsigpåare är detta inte ett tempel utan ett kapell och Sveriges enda officiella mormontempel finns i Stockholm. Det här är alltså ett exempel på en krock mellan fackspråk och vardagsspråk. För de flesta är ju "tempel" en beteckning på alla sorters byggnader som är eller har varit avsedda för religionsutövning. Men det viktiga är ju att detta innebär att den som läser cachebeskrivningar (vilket ju de flesta inte gör) här har en chans att säga: "Förresten! Visste ni att det här inte alls är ett tempel..?"
