Geocache Description:

Congratulations The Mighty Pirate for the FTF!

The 1st Puzzle Cache in Vietnam

This cache is part of Master of Mystery #12 - VAREL

The cache is NOT at the listed coordinates!
You must solve the puzzle to receive the actual coordinates.

I'd like to thank Richard Gallahad, an English teacher here in Hanoi, for the inspiration for this puzzle.

A group of animals are trying to find their way home. There were 6 of them; a dog and 2 puppies and a cat and 2 kittens. They met up with a human, an animal trainer, and his friend a lion. They were all heading the same way so they joined up as a team. The only problem is that the different groups don't really get along.

They came to a point in the path where they had to cross a river and the only way was to take a boat that can only handle 1 or 2 passengers at a time.

Your task is to make sure that all members of the group can cross the river safely.

Click this link for the puzzle.

This cache is located in what could be a really beautiful park (Thong Nhat or Unity near the Hanoi Central Circus) but it is under construction now. Soon, for the 1000th anniversary of Hanoi in 2010, the construction will be complete and its beauty will be restored.

You are looking for a camo'd 35mm film container placed in a tree. The FTF will get a special prize plus there are 2 pathtags along with the log. BYOP!!!

If there is work being done, workers present, too many muggles, the cache is missing or you feel that you might jepordize the cache by retrieving it, please take a picture of yourself near the object and post with your found log.
