Listed coordinates are for the "Farmers' Gate." One of the gated entrances to Central Park. Each gate was named by Olmsted and Vaux, the park's designers, for the type of person they anticipated entering the park from that area. The cache is not there, but is within two miles of that point.
Farmers? Not really a career that you'd expect to be honored in New York City, right? But keep in mind that when Central Park was built Harlem was nothing but orchards and backfields.
You are looking for a fake rock.
