Tucker Park can be found off Kennebecasis Drive in Saint John. (N 45.18.673, W 066.05.616). There is a public beach area as well as some casual hiking trails. Usually the main gate is open and you can drive inside to park. If the main gate is closed, you can park there and expect to walk for 5-10 minutes to get to the parking lot inside.
From the parking lot, you walk down to the public beach and around the corner. You will see a rocky slope going up to the left, and this is where you want to go. It's quite an obvious pathway up and into the woods. From there, just follow your GPSr!
There is some very minor bushwhacking involved with this one. A supervised child or pet would be fine to take to this cache. GPS accuracy was 6m at the time of hiding.
The cache container is a large peanut butter jar wrapped with black duct tape.
Original contents of the cache:
-First to find prize (brand new travel bug tags)
-Gecko beanie baby
-New package of glowsticks
-Mustang GT toy car
-New deck of playing cards
-Canada keychain
-Bubbles
-Baseball water ball
-Saint John pin
-Log book, pencil, pen
-Three signature photos of mine
As always, please leave the cache as well or better than you found it!
This is my first hide and I hope everyone enjoys the hunt! I look forward to reading about your experiences!
