TOTS #24: Squatch Hygiene Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

M&JThomas: We're going to temporarily archive this one. Seems that the neat things we did with the hide have gone missing. It's unfortunate, since the accoutrements for this one were special and unique and can't understand why anybody would want to take them. Please stand by.

Geocache Description:

TOTS #24

Sasquatch is very conscientious about his personal hygiene, but sometimes he forgets to put his toiletries away. If you search carefully you may be able to spot some signs of his morning routine (he has excellent dental hygiene, as you may notice if you live long enough). Be careful out there.

ABOUT THE SERIES: The Trail of the Sasquatch (TOTS) will take you to several "Squatchy" spots in the Roanoke Valley area, where you will be searching for a wide variety of cache types and containers—including some hidden by the Squatch himself (he is a playful dude after all, at least when he's not eating geocachers).

If you can find ALL of these caches before the Squatch finds YOU and uses you for a chew toy, you will be eligible to receive a free TOTS coin. If he finds you first, well...run as far as you can from GZ before he caches...er, "catches" you. We haven't budgeted for a clean-up crew.

All of these caches can be found and logged independently, but each cache has a secret number on the log and/or prominently displayed on the container. If you find ALL of the caches, you may add ALL of the secret numbers together, and go to Virginia's Blue Ridge Visitor Center (101 Shenandoah Ave NE, Roanoke, VA) during business hours with the correct total to receive your commemorative coin.

There is a link below to a TOTS Researcher form that you can print and use to keep track of your secret numbers.

We join Mr. Sasquatch in thanking all of those who made this series possible, in particular: Virginia's Blue Ridge Visitor Center; the Mill Mountain Discovery Center; Roanoke South County Library; The Roanoke Times; Roanoke City and Roanoke County Parks & Recreation; and the proprietors of Bent Mountain Bistro, Black Dog Salvage, and Bent Mountain Fruit Market—and of course, our very patient volunteer geocaching.com reviewer, offline.cacher.

Good luck, happy caching, and try not to become a Squatch snack.
