This is Piece 9 of a series of 12 puzzle piece caches that I am hiding all across Southern California! Each cache contains a different piece and when you have obtained them all, you can assemble them into a custom-made puzzle. Please feel free to take one puzzle piece, and leave the rest for others! This piece is located on the edge of Ascot Hills Park, an urban park not far from downtown Los Angeles. On a clear day, you should be able to see the skyline from ground zero. The easiest place to start accessing the geocache would be to park somewhere in the neighborhood of Omaha Heights, then walk to the intersection of Lynnfield St and Kewanee St. From there, you can follow Kewanee St down as it transitions into a gated cul-de-sac and then a hiking trail. (An alternate route would be to park in the parking lots of Ascot Hills Park and then hike about 1.2mi roundtrip to access the cache; it ascends and decends 250ft, so while short, it is quite steep.) The coordinates should be quite accurate, so leave no stone unturned. I have attached a picture of the view from ground zero to serve as a hint. If the pieces are running low or the cache otherwise needs maintenance, let me know and I will address it as soon as possible. Best of luck! Below are the links to the other pieces of the puzzle.
