This is Piece 12 (and also, for now, Piece 10) of a series of 12 puzzle piece caches that I am hiding all across Southern California! Each cache contains a different piece and when you have obtained them all, you can assemble them into a custom-made puzzle. Please feel free to take one of each puzzle piece, and leave the rest for others! This piece is hidden near (but not quite at) Marshall Canyon Staging Area, tucked away into the corner of La Verne. From here, you can see down into the golf course, reservoir, and city. Once you park at the staging area, carefully make your way to the coordinates, which should be quite exact. A picture of ground zero is below to give you a hint. Due to the original location for Piece 10 being inaccessible due to the Eaton Fire, I restocked this cache with two differently shaped pieces. Please look at the shapes carefully and take one of each in order to complete the puzzle! You should end up with one yellow piece and one piece that is a different color. I have relocated the Piece 10 cache so now it is accessible, but since it is quite a long hike, for now if you want to skip it, I decided to keep the original remaining non-yellow pieces in this cache. If you would like a new special multicolor version of them though, that is only available from the new Piece 10 cache location. If the pieces are running low or the cache otherwise needs maintenance, let me know and I will address it as soon as possible. Best of luck!
