Wilson Creek Geocaching Adventure
The "Wilson Creek Geo-Adventure" will involve approximately 100 kms of driving. 35 kms is on a paved highway. The other 65 kms is on the Wilson Creek FSR which is described as a good, 2 wheel drive, gravel road, and while that is mostly true the section from Wilson Lake East along Wilson Lake to Wilson Lake West has become really rough section and there is going to be some pinstripping. Having said that if you don't want to damage your vehicle you can turn around at East Wilson Lake and then drive up the Wilson Lake Road near Box Lake.
This Adventure will take you to several pristine mountain lakes and spectacular waterfalls with plenty of opportunities for camping, hiking, and fishing. To get the most enjoyment out of this caching series we strongly recommend bringing your camping gear. Also don't forget your camera, bug spray, and fishing rods. As always, remember to be bear aware. In order to locate this cache you must visit the ten caches in the Wilson Creek Geo-Adventure.
