Welcome to the Fairfield County History Geo Trail - Our trail will take you all over Fairfield County to many of our small historic towns that make up this great county. We hope you have fun and experience all our county has to offer.

To find this cache you must go to the above coords and gather some information to reach your next and final Stage of this cache. .

Welcome to Lancaster, Ohio home of General William Tecumsah Sherman or Cump as his troops called him. Sherman was a businesssman, Author, Educator and Soldier in the Civil War. He was delcared "the first modern general" for his harsh strategies he implimented during his command during the Civil war. He was raised from age 9 by family friend Thomas Ewing after his father died unexpectedly. His childhood home is now a museum and can be visited from April Through November.
