About This Item

My name is Ed the Ted. I would like to travel and meet other travel bugs. My main aim is to climb high mountains but will make do with hills for a year or so until I get enough experience to climb properly. Please take a picture for my scrapbook as my memory is not as good as it used to be.

Today I had a walk on half the Nantlle Ridge in my homeland of Wales. I climbed Y Garn (633m), Mynydd Drws-y-coed (695m), Trum y Ddysgl (709m) and Mynydd Tal-y-mignedd (653m). Explorer Dottie climbed the pillar here but I decided to stay at the bottom!

Today I had a walk on half the Nantlle Ridge in my homeland of Wales. I climbed Y Garn (633m), Mynydd Drws-y-coed (695m), Trum y Ddysgl (709m) and Mynydd Tal-y-mignedd (653m). It was a difficult scramble up here but I was safe in the bag!

I climbed the 429m Moel Tryfan as a warm up before the nearby 698m Mynydd Mawr. It was a beautiful place!

We parked Flotterstone and walked up Turnhouse Hill (506m), Carnethy Hill (573m), Scald Law (579m), South Black Hill (563m), East Kip (534m) and West Kip (551m). My photo was taken at the highest place in the Pentland Hills, Scald Law.

Parked at Balsporran Cottages. Circular walk taking in A' Mharconaich (973.2m) Bruach nan Iomairean (969.8m), Beinn Udlamain (1010.2m), An Sgulan (865m), Old Sgairneach Mhor (963m), Sgairneach Mhor (991m), Sgairneach Mhor E Top (758m) and the Sow of Atholl (798.9m). Then a separate circular walk around Geal-charn (917.1m) at the end due to an error at the start.

Just one photo today on the highest summit, Beinn Udlamain (1010.2m).
