About This Item

My 1000 find was El Diablo GC1251Y. It was a very well done cache on an abandoned railroad bridge. If the cache is ever archived, I'll add more to this description. A special thanks to H2Guy for placing El Diablo, and then for giving me this coin to celebrate the event.

The cache is in the middle of a swampy woods with no easy way there. It requires wearing waders and walking in some muck. When you approach GZ, you see an 8" frog sitting on a log reading a book. It's a great approach. There was water and swamp like area appropriate for a frog.

The cache is a small plaque in an itty bitty town north east of Denton. The plaque is on the outside wall of a restaurant called Mom's. The plaque is a little chalkboard type thing that looks like something you would write daily specials. Instead it says congratulations, you found the cache. To log it do ?????

This is a two stage cache with a slap braclett at stage #1. It's taped in silver duct tape to look just like the fence pole. It matches really well.

The multi is in a historical park with a 1920's setting. The four stages have floss, toothpaste, tooth brush and a big empty tooth. The final stage is in a tunnel through huge privits.

The cache is on private property. There is a burial plot will a fence, crypt and tombstone. It's very well done including the inside of the crypt.
