About This Item

My 1000 find was El Diablo GC1251Y. It was a very well done cache on an abandoned railroad bridge. If the cache is ever archived, I'll add more to this description. A special thanks to H2Guy for placing El Diablo, and then for giving me this coin to celebrate the event.

This cache is on top of the traditional skirt hide. It's an electrical box with the wiring tube. The bottom is cut at an angle to make it flush with the pole to make it look like it goes in the pole.

Cool cache that uses a magnetic sheet with a drink ad on the front. It's pasted right to the pump just like any other ad. The log is on the backside as you peel it off.

Jake has great clever caches. Candy cane is no exception. This is a section in the road where it narrows down. Road blockades mark the closed section. JiT has added two reflectors on the cement below the red & white road blocks. They look like they belong. One of the reflectors has the cache under it.

It's just a plain little jar close to the size of the bolts holding the massive pillars. The jar is painted a brilliant blue like the pillars and bolts. The jar just sits out in the open like the bolts.

Great hide out in the open. A small capsule covered with whitish glue/goo and a granite/crystal like rock. It just sits out in the open and looks like a natural rock laying around.
