All good things must come to an end; Homer's last season has ended. 2008-2023
This was the first geocache I placed, in honor of all my ball-playing grandkids, several of whom played on these fields. Such blessings!
The cache lasted about 15-1/2 years but it's gone and won't be replaced. Fun times!

Visited this Earthcache on the beautiful beach in PCB.
First cache since fall 2021; hard to believe I skipped a whole year. Need to do better. I didn't even get one in Myrtle Beach last summer.
Letting the Glittery Girly Ammo Can visit too, remembering the good old days of caching with my caching buddies.

Wonder when I'll get back to these beaches?

Found this quick and easy virtual cache on a beautiful afternoon in Senoia with Amanda, only about the third or fourth time we've seen each other since Mr. Covid came to town in March of 2020. We ate a sandwich, then strolled around town, snapped a photo at this cache, and bought a Christmas ornament. Then we went to Hobby Lobby for her to exchange something and I bought a few little Christmas presents. Fun afternoon with a very good friend and a nice virtual cache.

First cache in a long while, found while on a little walk in the park before going to try to do a replacement of sorts at City of Homes. Little birdhouse has sadly been taken.

Letting the little traveler visit this one today after finding a cache on a walk in the park and a dead ringer-type cache right on the way here.
(Edit: I went to log the phone booth cache and saw I'd found it seven years ago! For some reason it didn't show as found by me on my phone app, LOL.)

The cute and sturdy little fake birdhouse Dan made for this cache is unfortunately gone. I left a temporary thing today until I can come up with something better.

Somehow I missed logging a find for this pretty pink cache years ago, but better late than never. It's about to be archived due to the location being closed because of Covid. Technically #773 but actually found way back with the Girls! Sad to see it go, and hope it can find a new location in the future.

Going to log faithful Lucy (RIP) through the cache, too, as she was there!

Goodness, this only the third cache I've found this year. I can do better than that, surely. Anyway, could have had the FTF last night, but it's near a home and was already very dark so I didn't go. Surprisingly still got the STF today. I unintentionally slightly disturbed a tiny bird egg at GZ. I hope the mother won't mind too much. (I put a note in the cache log to warn others.)

Nice to get out for a few minutes and find one of Karen's new caches. Logging a few stay-at-home coins through, too.
