A series of three travel bugs competing to travel as far away from Colchester as possible by 25th September 2011, either within the UK or abroad. Photos of the travel bug along its journey would be welcome. After 25th September 2011 the travel bug can travel randomly from cache to cache.
This travel bug is one of a series of three celebrating the birth of our son, Rufus H. Keitch. He was born in Colchester General Hospital close to the place where this travel bug was originally dropped. It was the first cache we found as a new family. Each travel bug in the series is competing to travel as far away from Colchester as possible by 25th September 2011, Rufus' first birthday. This cache is named after Rufus' mummy, the others in the series are named after his daddy and Rufus himself.

This well travelled butterfly has just been waiting to return to the wild. After the last couple of years upheaval it was finally released back into it's journey by a group of Welsh Pirates on a deserted island in a lough in Ireland.
