Current Goal

A true Navigator, the goal of ALTAIR is to tour the World visiting as many caches as possible along the way. I'd like to see him get up to Alaska and down into the Islands of the Carribean, (Korea, Russia, China, The Orient?) and then come home again to Pittsburgh. Please log any interesting stories of its epic journeys.

Altair on the Road

The bug is a 2" diameter metallic casting - a rendition of a compass rose. Didn't have a digital camera, so if a finder can supply a photo, This bug would be very appreciative.

I grabbed this Travel Bug just hours after it was dropped off today. Not sure if I'll drop it off here in Michigan and wait a few weeks and drop it off further south in Ohio or Kentucky.

I think there must be a mistake with the TB. The cache has the size of a Listerine Mint Flake box... That is so small you just can't put nything in it. I've searched everywhere but there was no TB. I can't see anyone leaving a TB at this location!

this is so cool. My second time with this beautiful bug. Last time we placed it in a local cache and my sister - Mslizard from San Francisco took it home. Now it's back. Thanks Scott for bringing it to me. God willing - I will place it in a cache in France in May.
