My mission is to visit the RAF stations used by the No. 316 (Warszawski) Squadron RAF during WWII.
I would be interested in finding out what has happened to the bases since the war and how many of them are still used for flying. I have checked the base locations on Google Earth. Some are still clearly visible and some are not.
The badge with the TB is the Squadron Badge of No 316 (Leigh) Squadron, Air Training Corps (an organisation connected to the RAF which gives young people opportunities to fly, glide and get involved in lots of other activities), which contains the Polish emblem of the wartime 316.
There were some (~10) tin badges included with the TB when it was was first released. Please take one when you pass on the TB.
If the bug gets around all twelve locations, we'll try to take some of the Leigh air cadets to retrieve it.
Listed below are the bases used By No. 316 (Warszawski) Squadron RAF during WWII.

Found this on a lovely Jan day. Saw it's mission and saw "Churchstanton" as one of the locations and thought - excellent - that's only 1mile from my parents...then saw it's been there already..boo
Will move on when we can closer to Pembrey as that seems to be the closest base to us..
One badge left - we won't take it and will leave it for the next person
many thanks

Collected the bug from J32 on the M4. Very muddy after all the rain. Would suggest only doing this cache if you have appropriate wet weather clothing.
