Visited 4/2/2019 Pengwinldy took it to R.I.P. FlagMan California - 42.52 miles  Visit Log

R.I.P. Flagman:So last night when I was planning which cache to go to before work today, I identified one of Flagman’s caches not too far away. Then this morning this new one popped up and I switched gears. Got a later start than needed for FTF but was STF. Love the container and tribute to FM. I left my signature penguin and a TB to keep him company. Cute container. Fave point given.

Visited 4/1/2019 Pengwinldy took it to FNMC #3 - Codee Bear California - 6.18 miles  Visit Log

FNMC Codee Bear: So, I’ve searched for this one three times before over the last 2 years and have had no luck. Tonight I walked up to GZ and saw it right away. Now I feel stupid. Glad to finally find it though.

Visited 4/1/2019 Pengwinldy took it to Ceti eel California - 30.77 miles  Visit Log

Ceti Eel: I love Star Trek and Wrath of Khan brings back memories of my childhood. I love the name of the street and I love the hide. Favorite point from me.

Visited 4/1/2019 Pengwinldy took it to An' a one, An' a two...... California - 18.75 miles  Visit Log

An’ a one. An’ a two: I, too, remember watching the Lawrence Welk show on TV with my grandparents. 🎶 “Good night. Sleep tight and pleasant dreams to you. adios, amigos and may you dreams come true”🎶 Well that’s what I thought they were singing.

Great view of the resort from up here. I have a meeting in Fallbrook tonight so grabbed a couple of caches along the way. I had the proper TOTT and it was easy least.

Visited 3/31/2019 Pengwinldy took it to Father Cache California - 48.65 miles  Visit Log

Father Cache: Attended the kick off event for the Relay for Life here in PQ (the event will be 6/8-6/9) and decided to go for this cache while I’m in this part of town. It was not where the hint is, in fact, it was just lying on the ground out in the open. I signed it, added a penguin and tried to hide it according to the hint, although choices were limited. The CO may want to come check on it.

Visited 3/30/2019 Pengwinldy took it to Good Golly It's ...! California - .34 miles  Visit Log

Good Golly, It’s...!: Enjoyed the afternoon exploring Historic SJC but needed to refuel for the drive home. I was content with the number of caches I had already found today but since we were stopped, I thought I’d check to see if anymore were near. Yes! Perfect. Let’s go. We parked right next to GZ and made the easy find. There was a container, despite the hint suggestions there wasn’t and I was surprised to find the signature Worry doll from my San Diego caching friend DegelDuo there. Took it and left my signature penguin.

Visited 3/30/2019 Pengwinldy took it to TNT Series #4: Big Palm...Lil' Palm California - .17 miles  Visit Log

TNT Series #4-Big Palm… Lil’ Palm: After exploring the Historic District we headed back to the car which was parked nearby. Had to grab one more Cache-it was so close. Started looking at the wrong tree at first and almost gave up then I laid eyes on the attachment device.

Visited 3/30/2019 Pengwinldy took it to Mission: 74 California - .07 miles  Visit Log

Mission 74: I wouldn’t recommend looking for this one on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of muggles to dodge. We were looking in the wrong spot and bailed because I felt too conspicuous. We went across the street to peek at the mission then came back and decided to try again. This time with success.

Visited 3/30/2019 Pengwinldy took it to HSJC - Los Rios Historic District California - 40.12 miles  Visit Log

HSJC- Los Rios Historic District: So this weekend my hubby and I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary sans kids. We started at Disneyland for a few hours then headed down the coast. Although we’ve driven by 1000’s of times, we have never stopped in SJC-until today. We enjoyed walking the historic district, got a peek at the mission through the gift shop, grabbed a few caches and had dinner at Sundried Tomato. So yummy. I can’t wait to come back. Anyway, I had this cache on my radar first. After reading the hint but before I got to the first waypoint, I decided to sit down and gather intel (my hubby said he was going to wait in the car so I wanted to make it quick). My geosenses were tingling and I had a hunch I was at GZ. I waited out a muggle then tested my hypothesis. YES! Found the cache-without any coords.

My hubby ended up joining me and we explored the area, including actually going to the first WP to get the info and learn a bit. Backwards, I know but thorough nonetheless. Thanks for the fun on this beautiful day!

North County Coastal Hall of Fame: Got up early today and drove to work along they coast, grabbed this cache and enjoyed watching the surfers before I started my day. So beautiful out today.
